Mortgage document preparation vendor International Document Services has named its first chief executive.
Mark Mackey has been promoted to chief executive officer for the Salt Lake City-based provider of closing documents, initial disclosures and compliance. Mackey, who began working at IDS in 1999, has been running the company's day-to-day operations without the title.
"People who are familiar with IDS know Mark has been running the company in this capacity so we don't anticipate anything will change for our customers with the promotion," said Curt Doman, president at IDS.
