Wilson & Associates PLLC and Wilson, Adams & Edens PA said that Kent Mattingly has joined the Wilson firms as client relations director.

Mattingly has been in the mortgage banking industry for over 30 years and with Pierce and Associates PC since 1993.

He will continue to represent Pierce & Associates as client relations director.

Prior to joining Pierce & Associates, Mattingly worked in the loss mitigation and customer service field for several national private mortgage insurance companies.

FLORIDA

Innovative Mortgage Services appointed loan originator and mortgage executive Jason Gonzalez as its new president of sales and marketing.

Gonzalez brings to the company over 14 years of mortgage experience with an emphasis on technology.

INDIANA

Stonegate Mortgage Corp. appointed Douglas Gilmore to the role of chief information officer, to lead IT and technology efforts.

In this role, he will oversee all information technology for Stonegate Mortgage, including origination, servicing and financing.

Gilmore brings over 20 years of experience in information security, network architecture and systems engineering to the company.

MARYLAND

American Capital said that John Scheurer joined the company as managing director and chief investment officer in the commercial real estate group.

He will be responsible for developing a commercial real estate platform, alongside American Capital managing director Doug Cooper and the existing commercial real estate group.

Prior to joining American Capital, Scheurer held several positions at Allied Capital Corp.

Kimco Realty Corp. said that David Henry will retire on Jan. 1, 2016 as vice chairman of the board of directors and chief executive officer.

Conor Flynn, president and chief operating officer, has been appointed to succeed Henry as chief executive officer, effective on that date.

Flynn was appointed president of the company in August 2014 after previously being named Kimco's chief operating officer in May 2013 and, more recently, chief investment officer in May 2014

Flynn will continue in these roles until Jan. 1, 2016.

In addition to the appointment of Flynn, Kimco promoted David Jamieson to senior vice president of asset management and Ross Cooper to senior vice president of acquisitions.

David H. Gunning II, a real estate attorney and member at McDonald Hopkins, has been appointed chair of the business advisory and advocacy law firm's national real estate practice.

Gunning joined McDonald Hopkins in March 2014 after serving as president and chief executive officer of APM Management, a multifamily real estate acquisition and management company in the Midwest.

His experience spans the areas of real estate, finance, construction, and general corporate law, including real estate acquisition and dispositions, joint venture agreements, investor relations, negotiations/contracts, litigation management and fund development.

TEXAS

Mid America Mortgage Inc. hired Joanna Shelton as the company's next compliance manager.

In addition, Shelton will oversee compliance for Mid America's sister company Mortgage Machine Service and its flagship loan origination system Mortgage Machine.

Prior to joining Mid America and Mortgage Machine Services, she worked for mortgage loan origination system provider Calyx Software.
