Mobile Loan Officer Extension Launched for Ellie Mae’s Encompass

Ellie Mae has rolled out an extension to its Encompass Lending Platform to allow loan officers to originate loans in a mobile environment.

Called Encompass Loan Officer Connect, the extension was previewed when Ellie Mae launched the new Encompass platform in October.

Encompass Loan Officer Connect can be accessed from Apple and Androids devices. Through the software, loan officers can qualify borrowers, run product searches and access FICO credit scores.

The software features application security and requires two-factor authentication. All data added or accessed through the program is stored directly in Encompass, rather than in a separate system or device.

"Encompass Loan Officer Connect extends the value and power of the Encompass Lending Platform," Ellie Mae CEO and President Jonathan Corr said in a news release. "Encompass Loan Officer Connect gives loan officers a fully customizable and scalable solution that lets them originate and access loan files anywhere, from any device, to increase productivity and efficiency while offering superior customer service and support to meet the unique needs of their customers."

Encompass was created to allow customers to integrate external systems and data and to construct custom cloud-based applications.
