According to data from LendingTree, the top five cities with the highest homeownership rates boasted an average owner-occupied housing unit rate of 70.32% in 2022. Most cities saw growth in their rate of owner-occupied housing units over three years, with Cleveland seeing the largest increase of 2.38%.
