Lenders and servicers are allowed to nominate themselves. In addition, technology and services vendors are encouraged to nominate their lender clients.

All nominations must be submitted through the official Web form and must include answers to all questions. Faxed or print entries will not be accepted. Additional supplemental information is accepted, but not required, but must be emailed to mtnominations@sourcemedia.com.

The 2012 Top Tech-Savvy Lenders and Servicers will be revealed in the September edition of Mortgage Technology, presented online and recognized live at the Mortgage Technology Awards ceremony in October.

There are two new features for this year’s list. While many mortgage companies that made previous years’ lists were both lenders and servicers, this year MT is formally inviting both lender/servicers and standalone servicers to enter the contest.

In addition, the lenders and servicers named to the list will decide the winner of the Lenders’ Choice Award, a new category created for this year’s Mortgage Technology Awards.

Lenders’ Choice Award Voting

After the Top Tech-Savvy Lenders and Servicers list is revealed in the September issue of MT, the judges panel will conduct a survey of the winners, asking them to rank their top three technology providers. Lenders and servicers will be asked to vote for the vendors that offer their organization the best customer service, value proposition and overall user experience.

The judges panel will then assign a points value to each lender/servicers’ rankings. The vendor ranked first will receive three points, the second-place vendor will receive two points and third place will receive one. The point totals for each vendor will be counted and the top three points-earners will be named the finalists ahead of the Mortgage Technology Awards ceremony. The winner will be the company with the highest combined points total and revealed at the awards ceremony.

The lenders’ and servicers’ individual votes will be kept confidential and voting will be conducted between Mortgage Technology’s editorial staff and an executive from each voting organization, regardless of who nominated the company for the Top Tech-Savvy Lenders and Servicers list.

Eligible voters include origination and servicing managers and executives directly involved with purchasing, implementing or using the technology in the organization’s mortgage business. This includes COO, CTO, CIO or similarly focused VP and senior-level management. No other intermediaries are allowed to participate in the Lenders’ Choice Award voting, including internal or external marketing, communications or public relations representatives.

To protect the integrity of the Lenders’ Choice Award voting process, these requirements will be strictly enforced. Please email mtnominations@sourcemedia.com with questions about voter eligibility or any other issue pertaining to the Top Tech-Savvy Lenders and Servicers or the Mortgage Technology Awards.
