2026's Top Producers, numbers 275-176

Mortgage originators had to scratch for every loan they closed last year, as seen in the highly unusual circumstance of the fourth quarter being the year's strongest. As a result, 2025 found a slight increase in volume among our survey respondents.

Last year, the No. 250 originator produced just under $25 million; this year's did just more than $26 million.

The Top Producers Survey is open to individual loan officers who work at depository, nonbank (including third party originators) and mortgage brokerage firms in the United States.

The survey covers mortgage loans originated during 2025, plus the submitters' views on issues affecting the industry at large as well as their business. These included open ended questions on customer retention as well as the expected shift in 2026 to a purchase market.

Industry-wide volume returned above $2 trillion in 2025, compared with $1.7 trillion the year before, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. In terms of units, 5.46 million loans were created during 2025, a year-over-year gain from 4.57 million, a sign that the gain in unpaid principal balance was not only the result of rising home prices.

The Top Producers survey has been in existence for 28 years and is the successor to those conducted by Broker magazine and Origination News (former National Mortgage News sister publications) as well as Mortgage Originator Magazine, which Arizent owns the content rights to.

Submissions were made by the participants or their representatives. The information was verified to the best of our ability but National Mortgage News cannot claim the absolute veracity of the data. Some entries might have been removed due to submission errors or following the check on the data.

Today we reveal the loan originators ranked between 176 and 275.

Check back on the National Mortgage News website in the coming days for more of the data to be revealed, loan officers ranked 175-101, 100-51 and then the top 50. Additional cuts of data, including top women and by number of units produced, will be published shortly thereafter.
