It's one thing for consumers to vote for the lender which offers the best customer service, but it's a step up when the ballots are cast by a company which earns its own reputation on the reputation of the companies with which it does business.
And so it is that for the second consecutive year, LendingTree, the online loan exchange, has named Great Western Financial Services of Plano, Tex., as having the best customer service among the 200 lenders in its own network.
Not to be outdone, though, Quicken Loans was named twice by the network, one as “Outstanding Long Form Partner - Refinance” and again as “Outstanding Short-Form Partner.”
Other lenders recognized for their performances were Mortgage Lenders of America (“Outstanding Long Form Partner – Purchase”) and Royal United Mortgage (“Outstanding Long Form Performance - Home Equity”).
“Our annual lender awards are an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of our lender partners,” said Lending Tree CEO Doug Lebda. “This year's award winners are excellent examples of how the lenders on the LendingTree network deliver great value and service to our borrowers.”
In his acceptance speech, Great Western CEO Fred McDonald said customer service stands at the foundation of his firm. “The company realizes that when a customer chooses our company to finance his loan, he is expecting courteous, timely and efficient service, and this expectation is exactly what Great Western strives to achieve and even exceed,” McDonald said. “This award is a testament to our staff's continual commitment to provide the customer with an exceptional experience.”
And you thought the Academy Awards ran on and on and on. Just kidding.
