Bank of America said Friday it has made a three-year commitment to make available up to 1,000 properties to nonprofit organizations and local government programs that provide homes for injured military veterans and first responders to emergencies.
D. Steve Boland, national mortgage outreach executive for Bank of America, said in a press release that the move expands existing property donation and community revitalization initiatives at the company which are aimed at
B of A also said it was able to donate through the Military Warriors Support Foundation and Operation Homefront two homes to two retired servicemembers who were injured in the line of duty. The retired servicemembers and their families received the keys this week.
