Braver Stern Securities LLC, New York, named Peter D. Howard managing director and head trader of CDOs, CLOs and esoteric asset-backed securities.

Howard joins the broker/dealer from Cross Point Capital, LLC, where he was head trader in charge of securitized products. During his career he has worked at Peloton Partners, LLP and other firms, including BNP Paribas.
The company said the new hire has "extensive experience" in ABS and will develop these business lines at Braver Stern.
