A capital markets veteran whose accomplishments include a pioneering effort in the United Kingdom’s mortgage-related securities market has joined hedge fund Titan Capital Group.

Keith Danko, whose innovations included the structuring and managing of the first U.K. multi-tranche collateralized mortgage obligation, has joined Titan as partner.
Previous to Titan, he worked for London-based investment manager CQS, where he served as chief executive of the firm’s U.S. operations for the past three years.
Earlier in his career, Danko served as executive director in charge of international mortgage and asset-backed trading at Goldman Sachs.
