Chase has hired eight mortgage professionals with a combined 96 years of experience to support its Newark, Del., office as the mega-bank further expands its borrower outreach efforts.
Chase said the new hires are in line with intensified activity that aims to both ensure first time buyers know the terms of their mortgage to become homeowners and sustain homeownership and foster foreclosure prevention. And apparently experience is the primary selection criteria.
At least three of the new employees have decades of mortgage experience.
Pat Lanigan of Hockessin, Del., joins Chase with 26 years of mortgage expertise, Michael Carr of Middletown, Del., who is a member of the New Castle County Board of Realtors and Cecil County Board of Realtors, has 19 years of experience. Jude Farnan of Wilmington, Del., also has 20 years of experience and is a member of the New Castle County Board of Realtors and New Castle County Chamber of Commerce.
Darren Corder, a resident of Wilmington, Del., joins Chase with eight years of experience in the mortgage industry. He is an affiliate member of the New Castle County Board of Realtors and is the education coordinator of the Business Network International Newark Chapter I.
Michael A. Flowers of Middletown, Del., joins Chase with seven years of experience in the mortgage industry, Douglas Kozak of Newark, Del., 10 years and Sarah Ostrowski of Baltimore, Md., eight years.
Even the most junior addition to the team, Melissa Ann Ramseur of Burlington, N.J., has five years of experience and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women.
