Credit Suisse this week hired Roger Lehman as managing director and head of its commercial mortgage-backed securities department, responsible for research and analysis. His appointment is effective August 1.
Lehman, who will report to Dale Westhoff, global head of securitized products research, will support the bank's re-entry into CMBS origination as well as its secondary trading desk.
"Roger brings a wealth of experience and expertise in real estate finance and securitization to Credit Suisse," said Westhoff. "Hiring a seasoned veteran of his caliber demonstrates our commitment to building an industry-leading full-service CMBS franchise."
He joins Credit Suisse from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he served as co-head of structured finance research.
