DocuSign to Implement Lead-to-Close Strategy

Looking to provide its technology from start to finish in a real estate transaction, e-signature company DocuSign has created a new "lead to close" strategy.

DocuSign's strategic plan sets out to make real estate transactions fully digital, from lead generation to recording a deed. The crux of the strategy lies within partnerships DocuSign has formed with the Realtors Property Resource data and analytics platform and real estate software provider Lantrax's Profit Power enterprise resource planning service.

"The real estate business is about trust and relationships — and by leveraging our core tenets of choice, trust and speed, digital transformation is streamlined as brokers and agents are put at the center of the transaction," Keith Krach, chairman and chief executive of DocuSign, said in a news release Tuesday.

The new partnerships will allow agents to track data throughout the real estate process, without the need to re-input information or keep track of papers.

The Realtors Property Resource platform will allow input of property information without retyping it manually, which should improve accuracy and speed. Similarly, Lantrax's service integrates with DocuSign's Transaction Rooms for Real Estate technology, which makes communication of property sale details paperless.
