Ellie Mae has hired Parvesh Sahi to serve as vice president of compliance solutions, overseeing development of Ellie’s acquisition of compliance software provider Mavent.

Since acquiring Mavent in Dec. 2009, Pleasanton, Calif.-based Ellie Mae has rebranded the subsidiary’s integrated automated compliance as Encompass Compliance Service. The software is integrated into Ellie’s Encompass loan origination system and performs automated compliance checks throughout the origination process.
Sahi comes to Ellie Mae from competing compliance software developer QuestSoft Corp., the Laguna Hills, Calif.-based provider of ComplianceEAGLE loan review software and a reseller of Mavent technology.
