The deal incorporates Carlisle, Iowa-based DataVision into Equifax’s TALX business unit based in St. Louis, which includes The Work Number and Rapid Reporting.

"Our clients are increasingly integrating our employment verifications into their platforms for new ‘Ability to Pay’ requirements. The unique workflow capabilities they bring, along with their client base and proprietary processes, will allow us to enhance our service offerings and expand our reach,” said Dann Adams, president of TALX, in a press statement.

DataVision has a common software platform to perform verifications of employment, income, assets, Social Security Number, addresses and checks against records of the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control. Atlanta-based Equifax said Data-Vision has partnerships with many large-scale technology providers, including Microsoft, Cisco, Dell and IBM.
