David Bochsler, one of two Bank of America divisional production managers who got the ax when the bank exited a handful of retail states early in the fall, has accepted a position with Cobalt Mortgage in the Seattle area.

A B of A spokesman noted that when the bank trimmed its staff it cut two of six regional managerial jobs. “He was one of the two let go,” the spokesman said. “He was in charge of the Pacific Northwest.”
Bochsler could not be reached for comment, but an associate of his said he will start at the company in December. It's not known what his job duties will entail.
Cobalt this year was named one of the fastest growing companies in the Seattle area by the Puget Sound Business Journal.
