HSBC-North America has announced that it will open a new facility in the Tampa Bay region of Florida in August to accommodate growth in the customer service and management functions supporting HSBC Mortgage Services.HSBC-North America said the company will expand its employment in the region by up to 250 by the end of the year and by 500 by the end of 2007. The company said it already employs 1,400 in the Tampa Bay area, of which more than 1,000 are employed by HSBC Mortgage Services.
