Incenter to Acquire Interactive Mortgage Advisors

Blackstone portfolio company Incenter in St. Paul, Minn., has agreed to purchase Interactive Mortgage Advisers.

Following the merger, IMA will focused on mortgage servicing rights sales and asset valuation as a part of Incenter's Secondary Markets Solutions platform. The merger is expected to close by the end of March, according to a Feb. 10 press release announcing the deal.

IMA said that the merger will benefit its existing clients by providing them additional services and products, including additional secondary markets services, analytics and expanded access to capital, according to IMA Managing Director Thomas Piercy.

Piercy, along with fellow Managing Director Chris John, will continue to lead the team following the deal, Incenter President Nicholas Smith said in the release.
