Investor Activity in Fidelity Stock Is Higher Than Usual on Friday

Fidelity National Financial was the only Mortgage Industry Equity Composite stock to have higher-than-average volume on an otherwise quiet trading day on Friday.

The title insurer, whose acquisition of Lender Processing Services received the blessing of the Federal Trade Commission earlier this week, was down 0.9% from its Thursday close, the third largest percentage loss among MIEC stocks. Of the 17 MIEC stocks, 11 closed lower.

FNF’s volume was 6.4 million shares traded, while its average was 3.5 million, according to Yahoo Finance.

Radian Group had the largest percentage loss, down 1.2%, while Home Loan Servicing Solutions was down 1.1%.

CoreLogic gained 0.51%, while Dime Community was up 0.47% and KB Home was up 0.28%.
