Jefferies has named a former American Stock Transfer and Trust Co. executive as managing director in the firm’s fixed-income military housing mortgage business.

Paul Kopsky, previously executive vice president and chief financial officer at American Stock Transfer and Trust, will source and originate military housing bond issue transactions for Jefferies.
Kopsky also was at one time an EVP at Capmark Financial Group.
The hire is part of a larger and ongoing build-out of Jefferies’ fixed-income division.
