Kastle AI integrates with ICE's mortgage servicing system

Kastle AI is accelerating AI adoption for mortgage servicers by integrating with Intercontinental Exchange's mortgage servicing system, MSP.

The integration allows servicers on MSP to deploy Kastle's AI agents without building custom infrastructure, Kastle said in a press release Friday. Once authorized, Kastle can use the integration to access loan data and execute servicing workflows through the platform.

"MSP is the system of record that many mortgage servicers depend on every day," said Rishi Choudhary, CEO of Kastle, in the release. "This integration allows servicers to deploy AI agents, like Avery, using the same system they already rely on for servicing operations."

Servicers can utilize the agents to automate borrower engagement, payment processing, collections outreach and operational quality assurance while maintaining system of record integrity within MSP, according to the release.

The direct connectivity with MSP allows servicers to activate Kastle's platform without changing their core servicing system.

Avery, Kastle's servicing agent, interacts directly with borrowers and servicing systems to complete basic servicing tasks, the company said.

With the integration, Avery can process borrower payments, establish quality right party contracts, create tasks within the platform, document loan activity within the relevant MSP workstations and servicing screens and collect loan data needed to complete servicing workflows, according to the release.

Kastle's platform also includes AI agents that improve servicing operations, such as Sentinel, which automates quality assurance and compliance monitoring for borrower calls and servicing documentation. The company provides a real-time AI co-pilot to assist human agents during conversations with customers as well, it said.

Kastle, which won the Digital Mortgage 2024 Innovation Challenge, has partnered with servicers in the past to automate services. One of them was Haven, a platform that embeds servicing functions into a lender's brand, in 2024. The companies worked together to provide AI-powered voice agents for borrowers.

ICE does not own nor endorse any specific industry participant or what they provide. Originators and servicers are responsible for vetting and selecting providers, the release said.

ICE announced plans to upgrade its servicing platform with AI voice and chat agents last month at the ICE Experience conference in Las Vegas. The servicing tools will use agentic processes to offer solutions to questions and concerns raised by borrowers as well as execute certain loan management actions, the company said.

Last year, ICE rolled out an AI-powered tool called Ask Regi, which uses ICE's library regulatory guidelines and practices to answer compliance questions.
