Magness has been promoted to executive vice president and Southwest regional leader at LandAmerica Financial Group Inc., Richmond, Va.Mr. Magness, based in Dallas, oversees company operations in New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. He was most recently senior vice president and Southwest regional leader for LandAmerica's commercial services customer channel, the company said. He has 23 years of industry experience.
