Mortgage vendor Lender Processing Services, Jacksonville, Fla., late Thursday named Tom Schilling its executive vice president and chief financial officer.
The company said that Francis Chan, who previously held the position, will serve in a consulting role, assisting with special projects.
Schilling joins LPS with more than 20 years of experience both as a public company CFO and chief operating officer.
During his career he has worked for such firms as USA Mobility, Broadwing, and MCI.
"Tom's business development acumen and extensive financial and operational management experience make him an outstanding choice for our management team as we balance the execution of new growth opportunities with appropriate financial discipline and compliance," said Jeff Carbiener, LPS president and chief executive officer.
On Thursday LPS reported third quarter earnings of almost $79 million.
