It was another quiet day on Wall Street Friday, as trading volume in the member stocks of the Mortgage Industry Equity Composite was lower than average (according to Yahoo Finance) for a second straight day.

Still, it was a good day, as all but two of the 17 companies saw an increase in their price. Only KB Home finished lower, down 1.62%, from its Thursday close, while Hudson City Bancorp closed unchanged.

PHH led all gainers on a percentage basis, up 3.41%, while Redwood Trust was up 2.59% and Radian Group up 2.04%.
