MountainView Capital Holdings LLC has acquired Capmark Securities Inc. and a team of fixed-income professionals from Madison Williams and Co. LLC.
The move is aimed at bolstering mortgage pipeline hedging and trading of mortgage-backed and other fixed-income securities at MountainView Securities LLC.
In addition to providing institutional fixed-income trading, MountainView is now offering trading and hedging lines to loan originators in the mortgage banking industry.
The pipeline hedging team consists of William Sias, managing director in fixed-income sales; Robert Fuchs, senior vice president in fixed-income sales; and David Senich, also an SVP in fixed-income sales.
The other key hires, who are focused on institutional fixed income, include: Ansel Eshelman, managing director and head of fixed-income trading; Scott McGowan, managing director in fixed-income sales; and Conrad Gerard, who also is a managing director in fixed-income sales.
The Madison Williams and Co. LLC team had previously been the institutional fixed-income sales and trading group at Sanders Morris Harris Inc.
