News Corp's Move Acquires Online Home-Sales Platform Reesio

News Corp's Move Inc. has acquired Reesio, a provider of document and transaction management software for residential real estate.

Reesio's four founding partners will join Move, according to a Thursday news release. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Reesio's platform allows real estate agents to bring the home-sale process online, giving multiple participants access, including buyers, sellers, title and escrow companies, mortgage professionals, home inspectors and others. It is a competitor to DotLoop, the Cincinnati-based company acquired by Zillow this summer.

"Move's deep commitment to the professional software side of the business and the real estate industry, generally, aligns with our vision of creating an all-in-one technology platform for brokers and agents," Mark Thomas, co-founder and chief executive of Reesio, said in the release.
