Mike Brosnan will become the senior deputy comptroller for large bank supervision while Vance Price and Sally Belshaw will become portfolio managers for large banks as deputy comptrollers for large bank supervision.

The nation's three largest players in mortgages – Wells Fargo & Co., Bank of America, and JPMorgan – are all supervised by the OCC.

Brosnan will succeed Doug Roeder, who announced his retirement in October. Roeder is scheduled to leave at yearend. Brosnan returned to the OCC in 2008 as deputy comptroller for large bank supervisions after four years as senior executive with MBNA Corp. and then Bank of America Corp.

Brosnan first joined the OCC in 1982. He has served as large bank examiner-in-charge, deputy comptroller for risk evaluation, and director of Treasury and market risk.
