loanDepot has launched its consumer experience and product development team with the appointment of Tim Von Kaenel as chief product officer, Rick Medeiros as chief digital officer and Helen Wang as head of consumer experience.

Von Kaenel joins loanDepot after a 20-plus-year career focused on product management in the software, wireless broadcast and financial services industries.

He most recently served as managing director at Outset Ventures.

Medeiros brings 20 years of experience to loanDepot, leading the digital and user experiences for brands including Seagate Technology, Intuit and Dell Computers.

He most recently served as executive director at Lenovo.

Wang brings 20 years of experience to loanDepot focused on consumer marketing strategy and analytics, and product management and innovation in consumer lending.

She most recently served as head of marketing strategy for Hyundai Capital America.

Money360 has expanded its online marketplace lending platform by hiring Prathit Thaker as chief risk officer and Peter Margolin as Midwest regional director.

As chief risk officer and the newest member of the leadership team, Thaker will be responsible for the enterprise risk framework to assess and mitigate credit, market, operations, competitive and regulatory risks for the company.

Prior to Money360, he served with Rabobank NA, Lehman Brothers, the FDIC, Hometown Commercial Capital and Bridger Commercial Funding.

Margolin's role as Midwest regional director will be focused on the origination of loan opportunities, helping to grow the firm's deal pipeline.

Prior to his position with Money360, he most recently held the role of vice president at PennyMac Commercial Real Estate Finance, where he opened the first office for PennyMac CREF in the Midwest.

Ernst Publishing Co. said that Mike Fletcher has joined the company as director of strategic accounts focusing on the lending market.

Fletcher has more than 30 years of industry experience, including positions in operations and sales for lending, technology and mortgage process outsourcing.

His 30-year career includes stints at RealEC Technologies, Landsafe Real Estate Closing Services, Homecomings Financial and, most recently, at Indecomm Global Services.

OREGON

PORTLAND

Janell Downing has been promoted to the role of senior vice president, agency manager for the Midwest region by WFG National Title Insurance Co.

Downing succeeds Executive Vice President Charles Cain, who previously oversaw the Midwest region.

Cain was recently named co-manager of the company's national agency operation with EVP Gene Rebadow.

Downing, who has been with the company since 2011 and has over 30 years of title experience, was previously agency sales and service representative in the Midwest region.

TEXAS

COPPELL

Chronos Solutions has named Matt Harrick as senior vice president of middle markets and Darcy Patch as vice president of marketing.

The company also appointed John Macias as Western regional director of title and settlement services and Edward Gonzalez as team captain.

Harrick joins the firm with almost 20 years of sales and business development experience in the mortgage and settlement services industry.

He was previously managing director of mortgage sales with Black Knight Data & Analytics, and before that was director of sales for First American DataTree.

Patch has more than 20 years of marketing experience, most recently serving as VP, marketing, strategy and industry relations for RealtyTrac's data and industry solutions groups.

Macias has served the title industry since 1989, most recently as director of national sales for First American Mortgage Solutions.

Before joining Chronos Solutions, Gonzalez was a sales representative with ServiceLink and Black Knight Financial Services.
