Mortgage Capital Trading Inc. said that Cara Krause has joined the company as regional sales director.

She will handle business development efforts and client management for new lender clients in the Northeast region of the country.

Krause, who has more than 25 years of experience working in the mortgage banking industry, comes to MCT from Impac Mortgage.

Before Impac, she was vice president and regional account manager at Envoy Mortgage.

SAN FRANCISCO

Roostify has named Frank Gelbart as chief revenue officer.

Gelbart brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise software, including several early-stage, venture-backed software companies.

Prior to Roostify, he served as president/CEO and co-founder of Appfluent Technology, a business intelligence infrastructure company, which was acquired by Attunity.

1st Reverse Mortgage USA, a division of Cherry Creek Mortgage Co., has appointed Dale Jones as director of marketing and communications.

Most recently, he served as the executive director of marketing and communications for Semester at Sea.

Jones also cofounded a Denver-based marketing and communications agency where he worked with start-up companies as well entities such as 3M, EDS, Colorado State University, PacifiCare of Colorado and 1st Reverse Mortgage USA.

GEORGIA

The StoneHill Group has hired Gail Callueng as the company's new quality control manager.

Prior to joining The StoneHill Group, she worked at Fannie Mae for eight years, most recently as the GSE's senior relationship performance manager.

Before joining Fannie Mae, Callueng served in a variety of executive and consulting roles in the banking industry, including assistant vice president at Fidelity Bank and vice president at Gainesville Bank & Trust.

The StoneHill Group has also hired Kirk Bockoven as director of outsourcing operations.

Bockoven has more than 30 years of mortgage industry experience and spent 10 years at Fannie Mae, serving in the roles of QC underwriting manager and mortgage fraud manager.

Most recently, he served as senior vice president of loan quality for Stewart Lender Services.

Alterra Home Loans said that Gerry Fernandez has joined the company as vice president of sales.

Fernandez, a 20-year veteran of the mortgage industry, was previously a division manager for New Penn Financial.

Prior to that he was vice president of retail lending for Pacific Union Financial and vice president of multicultural lending for New American Funding.

Amherst Capital Management, a BNY Mellon investment boutique specializing in U.S. real estate, has appointed Damon Pitler as managing director — portfolio manager, private funds.

Pitler, a 15-year commercial real estate and institutional investing veteran, will manage Amherst Capital's U.S. single-family equity and commercial real estate lending portfolios.

Prior to joining Amherst Capital, he was a senior investment manager for real assets at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas.
