LERETA LLC has named Patrick Hedges senior operations manager.

Hedges, who comes to LERETA with more than 25 years of industry experience, most recently led the business operations efforts for the Enterprise Shared Services organization at Bank of America.

Prior to joining LERETA and Bank of America, he held positions with Countrywide Financial Corp., Balboa Insurance Group, On Assignment and Pinkerton's Inc.

Jonathan Rose Cos. has promoted affordable housing finance veteran Kelly Boyer to president of Rose Community Capital. She was formerly West Coast director of RCC.

In her new position, Boyer will lead the RCC team in the origination, coordination, underwriting, processing and closing of company and third-party loans involving the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Federal Housing Administration mortgage insurance program.

She was formerly HUD FHA/MAP director and FHA chief underwriter for Citibank NA/City Community Capital.

Valuation Partners, a national appraisal management company, has hired Jon Forrester as vice president of valuation services.

Forrester has more than 25 years of experience in valuation technology, real estate reporting and risk assessment.

Previously, he was vice president at Mueller Services, a provider of reports, risk assessment and valuations for the insurance and lending industries.

For almost 20 years, Forrester also served as director of real property valuation services at Southwest Financial Services.

Gateway Mortgage Group has named Steven Patrick as its new chief risk officer. His responsibilities will span all efforts in enterprise risk management, compliance and quantitative analytics.

Most recently, Patrick was managing director with Everett Advisory Partners where he counseled clients on implementing risk-reducing strategies and capital raises.

Prior to Everett Advisory Partners, he held many different roles with Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago.
Patrick has worked in the financial services industry since 1987, starting at Merrill Lynch before moving to Bank of America.

Mr. Cooper Group Inc. has appointed Christopher Marshall as vice chairman, a newly created officer position, effective Jan. 2, and as chief financial officer, effective immediately following the filing of the company's annual report on Form 10-K for fiscal year 2018.

Marshall most recently served as co-founder and CFO of Capital Bank Financial Corp. since 2009. He also successfully led the company through its IPO as well as the acquisition and integration of eight community banks and the sale of the company to First Horizon.

Previously, Marshall served as chief restructuring officer and senior advisor to the CEO at GMAC Inc. and as CFO at Fifth Third Bancorp.

Prior to that, he was a member of the management operating committee at Bank of America and held roles including CFO of the consumer products group and chief operating officer of the global consumer and small business bank.
