Before joining Greystone, Papathomas served as a vice president at RealtyMogul, a real estate crowdfunding and investing platform.
Prior to that role, he was chief of staff and an underwriting lead at Investors Bank.
Gateway First Bank has hired Natalia Coen as its new chief compliance officer.
Coen will serve as a member of the risk and compliance committee and will oversee the compliance management processes for Gateway.
Prior to joining Gateway, she was senior vice president and director of compliance at CoBiz Financial, a financial services holding company in Denver.

Sagent Lending Technologies has appointed Stephanie Durflinger to the executive leadership team as EVP and chief product officer.
Durflinger, who brings to the firm over 20 years of experience in mortgage technology, will lead product management and customer support for mortgage and consumer servicing.
Michael Blair has joined LoanCare, a ServiceLink company, as chief administrative officer.
Blair most recently served as chief operating officer at Cenlar and brings more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry with a focus on servicing, default and loss mitigation.
Waterstone Mortgage Corp. has hired Eric Debelack as area manager, based in the firm's Pewaukee branch.
Debelack, who has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, will be responsible for growing Waterstone's presence across southeast Wisconsin, in addition to originating mortgage loans.
