Castle & Cooke Mortgage has opened a new branch in Glendale, Ariz., which will be managed by Andie Esquivel.
Esquivel began his mortgage career a decade ago with Corstar Financial, and became part of the Castle & Cooke Mortgage family in 2009 at its Peoria, Ariz., branch.
LRES Corp. said that Chief Strategy Officer Mark R. Johnson is being promoted to the position of company president.
Johnson has more than 20 years of executive experience in the mortgage industry, and prior to LRES he served as division president of Nationstar Mortgage Holdings, and as division president and chief operating officer of Lender Processing Services (now known as Black Knight Financial Services).
Apex Appraisal Service, a nationwide appraisal management company, has named Crispin Bennett its vice president, Eastern division.
Bennett brings more than two decades of experience to the company and will focus on the expansion of services and product development for the Eastern region.
Before joining Apex, he served as chief appraiser for Finance of America, a Blackstone company.
Altisource has appointed Patrick McClain as senior vice president, Hubzu Auction Services.
He will oversee product innovation for the company's online auction, live auction, short sale, claims without conveyance of title and national brokerage services businesses.
McClain is joining Altisource from Auction.com, where he served as senior vice president, asset management, overseeing operations of the REO business unit.
LBA Ware has hired Diana Sheffer as a consultant to support the company's sales and product implementation efforts.
Prior to joining LBA Ware, Sheffer served as a technology business consultant and product manager at Black Knight Financial Services. She also served with Pulaski Bank.
Primary Residential Mortgage Inc. has hired Travis O'Brien and Kaoru Forbess as its newest loan officers.
Prior to joining PRMI, O'Brien was a loan officer for Absolute Home Mortgage Corp. and Forbess was a loan originator at First Home Mortgage.
Butler Snow said that Dyanne Ray has joined the firm as a banking and compliance advisor in the banking and bank regulatory area within the finance, real estate and restructuring practice group.
Her banking background includes consumer, commercial and mortgage lending. While working as a loan operations manager at Deposit Guaranty National Bank, Ray managed consumer and commercial loan operations for several states.
Better Mortgage, a digital mortgage company, has hired Howard Katzenberg as chief financial officer.
Prior to Better, Katzenberg was the CFO of OnDeck, an online small business lender, where he joined in 2008 as one of its first employees.
Katzenberg will be based out of New York and focus on building up the company's West Coast offices.
