With over 20 years of industry experience, Sherman was formerly the director of mortgage data strategy and business development for Experian.

She started at Experian as a senior product manager in 2004 and worked with lenders, regulators (FHFA and CFPB) and GSEs.

Grandbridge Real Estate Capital has named G. Alex Haw as senior vice president and manager of its Miami/Southeast Florida loan origination.

Prior to joining Grandbridge, Haw led debt originations as the market manager for TD Bank's Miami commercial real estate platform.

Haw also held several positions during his 12 years with Bank of America, including commercial real estate banking, CMBS and real estate special assets.

Inland Mortgage Capital has appointed Marcus Perry as senior vice president of loan origination for the Eastern region.

In his new role, Perry will be responsible for all facets of Inland Mortgage Capital's commercial real estate bridge loan origination for the Eastern United States.

Prior to joining Inland Mortgage Capital, he served as executive director at Barclays Capital, where he was responsible for CMBS loan origination, due diligence, closing and securitization processes.

Walker & Dunlop Inc. has hired Telly Fathaly as a managing director of Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales.

Fathaly has over 14 years of experience in the multifamily industry.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, he served as a senior director in Cushman & Wakefield's equity, debt and structured finance group.

NewDay USA, a national VA mortgage lender, has hired Michael Greenwood as senior vice president of mortgage servicing.

Greenwood has 30 years of experience in the mortgage business, including servicing, production support and portfolio acquisitions.

Most recently, he was an executive vice president and mortgage loan servicing manager at PNC Bank.

NewDay USA has also hired Gaurav Bhatia as its new chief digital officer.

He has over 15 years of experience integrating online and traditional marketing to create strategies for new customer acquisitions.

Most recently, Bhatia was vice president of digital strategy and helped grow digital capabilities and membership for AARP.

Planet Home Lending said that Suzy Lindblom has joined the company as chief operations officer for fulfillment.

Lindblom, who has over 29 years of experience in the mortgage industry, most recently served as managing director, national fulfillment and operations at Stearns Lending.

Prior to that, she was vice president of national operations at MetLife Home Loans.

Dorsey & Whitney LLP said that Michael J. McCarthy has joined the firm's real estate and land use practice group in New York as a partner.

McCarthy's practice focuses on the representation of commercial lenders and borrowers in connection with mortgage and mezzanine financing secured by commercial real estate.

He joins Dorsey from Haynes & Boone LLP, where he was a partner in that firm's real estate practice in New York.
