First American Title Insurance Co. appointed Steven Rogers president and managing director of its New York division. In addition, he has been named a senior vice president of First American Title Insurance Co.

Rogers, who has been with First American for nearly 17 years, began his career with the company as claims counsel and was responsible for claims administration, including evaluation of liability and claim resolution.

Most recently, he served as vice president and senior national underwriting counsel for the New York division.

Jeanne LaBelle joined the company’s national commercial services division in Washington as senior divisional counsel for the Eastern region.

In her new role, LaBelle’s responsibilities include underwriting commercial transactions involving major customers throughout the region, as well as acting as an underwriting resource for First American attorneys within the region.

She comes to First American with more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.

Prior to joining First American, LaBelle worked as major transactions counsel for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Co.

Linda Naylor has joined LenderLive Network Inc. as executive vice president of strategic implementation.

Naylor is responsible for integrating the overall company strategy and implementing enterprise critical initiatives.

She brings more than 34 years of mortgage banking experience to LenderLive having held various positions in operations, sales and underwriting.

GE Capital said that Mark Begor has been named president and CEO of GE Capital Real Estate.

Margaret Keane has been promoted and will replace Begor as president and CEO for the U.S. consumer retail finance business, consisting of the retail consumer finance and sales finance businesses.

Begor succeeds Ron Pressman, who has led GE Capital Real Estate since 2007 and played a critical role navigating the business through the recent financial crisis.

After a 32-year GE career with senior roles in both industrial and financial businesses, Pressman will be leaving to pursue interests outside the company.

Begor, a 31-year GE veteran, most recently served as president and CEO for GE Capital’s U.S. consumer retail finance business and led restructuring operations.

CWCapital hired Mark Plenge as vice president, senior loan officer.

He is responsible for multifamily loan originations, primarily on the West Coast with a concentration in the San Francisco Bay Area, and will work to further develop and promote CW’s joint venture with Apartment Realty Advisors, ARA Finance.

Plenge brings more than 15 years experience directly originating multifamily and commercial real estate finance transactions with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, as well as FHA and various life company investors.

Flagstar Bancorp Inc., the holding company for Flagstar Bank, appointed Steven Issa to the position of executive vice president and managing director, commercial banking.

He will oversee the commercial banking division and will also serve as the market president for the New England region.

Also joining Flagstar is Michael Tierney, who was appointed to the position of executive vice president and managing director, retail banking.

He will oversee the retail banking division and will also serve as the market president for the Midwest region.

Also joining the company will be John Chipman, who will report to Issa and will oversee Flagstar's specialty lending division.

Flagstar also hired Michael Maher as executive vice president and chief accounting officer, and Daniel Landers as executive vice president and chief credit officer.

Ranieri Real Estate Partners said that Debra Huddleston has joined the firm as managing director and head of real estate structured products.

Prior to joining Ranieri Real Estate, Huddleston was a Managing Director at BlackRock Inc., in its financial markets advisory group.

She joined BlackRock from Credit Suisse, where she was a managing director and most recently served as head of special situations for the residential mortgage department.

Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. appointed Ralph Rosenberg as managing director to lead its global real estate investing efforts.

Rosenberg’s principal responsibility will be working across KKR’s global business to find real estate opportunities for the firm’s pools of capital, including equity, debt and special situations investments.

Rosenberg spent 17 years at Goldman Sachs, a partner from 1998 until he left in 2006.

Most recently, he was a partner of Eton Park Capital Management.

Ramsfield Hospitality Finance said that Annie Wickstrom has joined the company as vice president of asset management.

Her primary responsibility is overseeing asset management of Ramsfield’s hotel investments, as well as conducting market analysis and new transaction underwriting.

She joined Ramsfield after spending six years with Ernst & Young’s transaction real estate group.

The company also promoted Adam Maisel to the position of vice president.

Maisel, who has been with Ramsfield for four years, will now take a more active role in the acquisition of new investments.

He will focus on both sourcing and underwriting new loan originations and purchases.

American Spectrum Realty Inc. named Paul Perkins president of American Spectrum Realty Management.

American Spectrum Realty Management is a wholly owned subsidiary of the company’s operating partnership that leases and manages all properties owned by American Spectrum Realty Inc. as well as third-party clients.

Perkins has worked for American Spectrum Realty Inc. and its predecessor companies since 1994 in various capacities.
