ALTAMONTE SPRINGS

Mercantile Capital Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Old Florida National Bank, hired four new associates.

Mercantile appointed Kristina Clements and Ray Drew sales associates.

Mandy Drinkard was appointed marketing associate with the firm and Cristina Sanchez was named a credit analyst.

Sanchez previously was an investment associate with the Bank of New York Mellon.

ORLANDO

John Tuccillo, former chief economist for the National Association of Realtors, has joined Florida Realtors as chief economist and head of its new industry data and analysis department.

For the past 14 years, Tuccillo's Sarasota-based consulting practice—John Tuccillo and Associates Inc.—has provided research, analysis, strategic planning and business planning services to clients that include national real estate franchise firms, mortgage banking firms, media companies and trade associations.

Prior to that, he spent 10 years as NAR's chief economist and senior vice president.
