Lender Processing Services Inc. said that Nancy Murphy has joined the company as vice president of investor relations.

Murphy brings to the company 17 years of experience in financial strategy and analysis, business development and relationship management.

Most recently, Murphy directed investor relations for Stein Mart Inc. and before that served as head of investor relations for Providian Financial Corp. in San Francisco.

Prior to that, she worked in corporate banking for Westpac Banking Corp. and for The Bank of New York.
