U.S. Mortgage Corp. appointed two new senior executives, John Korothy as vice president of credit operations and Marc Silvera as vice president of capital markets.
Both will be responsible for all facets of loan pipeline and risk management, including opening, processing, underwriting, hedging and funding.
Korothy's experience in the mortgage banking industry spans 14 years.
Prior to joining U.S. Mortgage Corp., he was chief credit officer at Franklin First Financial.
Silvera began his career in the mortgage banking industry in 2001.
He joins U.S. Mortgage from Premium Capital Funding, where he served as director of business development and director of secondary marketing.

Marathon Asset Management added of three new partners, Stuart Goldberg, senior portfolio manager in the structured credit group; Jake Hyde, senior portfolio manager in the corporate credit group; and Andrew Springer, senior portfolio manager in the structured credit group.
Goldberg is a member of the firm's executive committee and has 23 years of experience investing in fixed income in the global markets.
Hyde is a member of the executive committee and has 17 years of investment experience across the corporate, structured and mortgage asset classes.
Springer, also a member of the executive committee, has 24 years of experience in analyzing, underwriting and purchasing mortgage assets and structured credit.
