CBRE Group Inc. said that Jim Rice and Nick Santangelo have joined CBRE Capital Markets, creating a new debt and equity finance team in Portland.

Rice has joined CBRE as an executive vice president and the Northwest regional leader for the debt and equity finance group.

Prior to joining CBRE, he was a senior vice president with Berkadia Commercial Mortgage where he managed the Portland, Seattle and San Francisco offices.

Santangelo has joined the firm as a vice president.

Also from Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, he started in commercial real estate as an analyst and became associate producer with the firm.
