ServiceLink said that Jay Jacobs has joined the company as senior vice president default abstract solutions.
He will be responsible for the management and oversight of ServiceLink's default abstract solutions center located in Irving, Texas.
Jacobs joins ServiceLink with over 25 years experience in the real estate and default settlement services industry where he began his career in real estate for the oil and gas industry.
Prior to joining ServiceLink, he served as executive vice president of LPS National Default Services.

Urban Lending Solutions hired settlement services industry veteran Michael Forgas, formerly CEO of National Real Estate Information Services, to serve as the company's chief strategy officer.
In his new role, Forgas will help set direction for the firm and head up its sales and marketing efforts.
In his former role as CEO of NREIS and its subsidiaries, he was responsible for all day-to-day operations and decisions for the family of companies.
