Radian Guaranty Inc., Philadelphia, has hired its first ever chief franchise officer, a position designed to build and promote the value of the company's mortgage insurance offerings.
Brien J. McMahon, who formerly led national sales for PHH Mortgage, as well as holding positions with a number of national real estate franchisors, will report to Teresa Bryce, the president of Radian Guaranty.
“Brien’s extensive experience in the residential finance and real estate industries gives him an insider’s understanding of our customers’ point of view,” stated Bryce.
Radian has taken a more proactive approach to regaining market share from the Federal Housing Administration than its competitors in the private mortgage insurance. It is running a marketing campaign, Radian is Ready, which includes a website and viral video on You Tube.
