Washington Real Estate Investment Trust, Rockville, Md., has announced a public offering of 2.6 million shares of its common stock.The REIT said it will grant the underwriters an option to buy up to 390,000 additional shares to cover any overallotments. Credit Suisse First Boston will be the sole bookrunner and joint lead manager of the offering, with A. G. Edwards & Sons as the other joint lead manager.
