According to recent published reports by KFYR-TV, the turn time for home appraisals has more than doubled.

The news organization quoted a firm called Dakota Appraisal which stated that on average new appraisals can take up to six weeks. Two years ago it took just three weeks.

The slow turn times are blamed on too many appraisal requests and not enough appraisers.
