Dansby White has been named managing director and head of the U.S. Collateralized Debt Obligation Group of Paris-based Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking.Mr. White, who will be based in the firm's New York office, was most recently managing director and senior portfolio manager at Highland Capital Management. He was previously managing director and head of structured finance and CDOs at Merrill Lynch, where his responsibilities included commercial mortgage-backed securities.
