Timios Inc., a national title and escrow company, is purchasing Glenn County Title Co., Willows, Calif., pending approval from state regulators. Terms of the transaction were not released.
Fiducia Real Estate Services Inc. is the parent company of Timios. It is 80% owned by Homeland Security Capital Corp., Arlington, Va.
C. Thomas McMillen, CEO of Homeland Security Capital, said of the Glenn County Title transaction, “This acquisition is our first step in allowing us to begin to serve the California market which will expand our coverage area and continue to grow our revenue. California is the largest title and escrow market in the country and we are pleased to start the process of offering our services in this market.”
Willows is located 85 miles north of Sacramento.
The other units of Fiducia are Timios Appraisal Management Inc., and Default Servicing USA Inc.
