Chris Cartwright has held a series of leadership roles at Wolters Kluwer since 1997, including CEO of CCH Legal Information Services and its Wolters Kluwer Legal, Tax & Business Division and most recently as CEO of the corporate and financial services division. He also founded and led Wolters Kluwer’s shared services and technology organization in North America from 2003 to 2008.

Cartwright will now serve as CEO of what was formerly called MDA Lending Solutions, comprised of MDA DataQuick and MDA Mindbox. The company will be renamed, but the new branding has not yet been announced.

As National Mortgage News first reported, the $850 million deal closed Tuesday for the Wilmington, Del.-based Lending Solutions business as well as MDA’s Los Angeles-based insurance information and valuation provider, Marshall & Swift.

DataQuick provides technology and data related to property history and characteristics, sales and loan information and market valuation derived from county assessor and recorder data. MindBox provides decisioning technology for mortgage pricing, product selection, approval and underwriting.

Marshall & Swift develops and provides residential and commercial property valuation technology to the North American property and casualty insurance industry. Its data is used to determine property insurance coverage amounts, identify inaccurate insurance coverage, estimate, manage and analyze claims.
