Commercial mortgage data provider Trepp acquired REITCafe, which hosts a website, e-newsletter and social media targeted to the real estate investment trust industry.

New York City-based Trepp provides commercial mortgage and mortgage-backed securities data, analytics and technology. REITCafe, also based in New York, was previously owned by Euromoney Institutional Investor plc’s News Group.
Trepp said the acquisition strengthens its position to provide commercial real estate information to its clients, while expanding the reach of its services to REITCafe subscribers.
