USAA Real Estate Co., San Antonio, named Will McIntosh as global head of research.

In his role with USAA, McIntosh will provide both top-down and bottom-up research on markets and properties in addition to providing recommendations and direction on market and asset selection.

He most recently served as head of global research for the real estate department of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

During his 20-plus years in the investment management industry, McIntosh served as managing director for ING Real Estate Investment Management, AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corp. and Prudential Global Asset Management Group.
