Wells Fargo Offering Foreclosure Mitigation Webinar

Wells Fargo is partnering with the National League of Cities to offer a webinar designed to mitigate foreclosures to the general public.

The "Understanding Foreclosure: A City Leader's Guide" webinar features three self-paced modules that explain how foreclosures affect a city. The course discusses who is responsible for taking care of vacant and abandoned properties. Additionally, users will be taught how to build strategies to address foreclosure in their community. The free webinar is provided through NLC's education and professional development initiative, NLC University.

"The tools in this course provide proven strategies to help city leaders across the nation understand and navigate the intricacies of the foreclosure process," said Clarence Anthony, chief executive and executive director of the National League of Cities. "Ultimately, a better understanding of this issue will lead to better outcomes for our communities and their residents."
