Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp., Sun Prairie, Wis., has hired mortgage trainer Bliss Sawyer as a senior loan consultant to the company.
She will cover the lender's Edmond and Oklahoma City regions.
According to a statement released by Fairway, Sawyer has nearly 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry as an originator and branch manager.
Fairway has 80 locations and more than 900 employees nationwide.
The bank's marketing, which hid the nature of its solicitations, led some borrowers to apply for cash-out refis that increased monthly payments, the OCC said.
