Churchill Mortgage Continues Staff Revamp, Growth

After hiring more than 50 new employees since January, Churchill Mortgage is restructuring its business management hierarchy.

The provider of conventional, FHA, VA and USDA residential mortgages in 26 states has promoted to leadership managerial positions 16 employees based at the company headquarters in Brentwood, Tenn.

Churchill provides a consultative approach to lending. “Staff dedication is a primary reason for many of our achievements,” said founder and president of Churchill Mortgage, Mike Hardwick. “Leadership is indispensable to our ability to recruit, train and ultimately continue growing.”

Among the newly promoted are Kevin Watson and Chris Bowser, whose mortgage industry experience expands to 20 years and 14 years, respectively.

In his new role as Watson will help develop Churchill’s presence and growth in Brentwood, alongside branches in Mount Juliet, Murfreesboro and Benton, Ark. His previous responsibilities included Middle Tennessee regional sales manager, overseeing multiple branches and heading the real estate agent specialty team. These duties and the goal to further expand Churchill’s presence in these areas are now passed on to Bowser.

Heidi McQuaig is now processing manager. Former processing manager John Lann is now branch operations manager responsible for existing staff support, training new employees to strengthen recruiting and foster growth.

McQuaig and Lann have nearly two decades of experience.

New lock desk manager, Elizabeth Wright, is taking on an expanded role of managing correspondent investor relationships, training and secondary marketing.

Courtney Bright’s new role is licensing manager responsible for pricing analytics, product development and new investor relationships.
